Raymond S. Murano, DPM, M.Ed. has been in practice for 39 years servicing patients in and around the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area.  Currently the Chief of Podiatric Surgery for Tufts Medicine, Melrose – Wakefield Hospital, he also serves on the Credentialing Committee, Medical Executive Committee, and the Trauma Team.

Additionally, Dr. Murano is also the Chairman of the Board for the Mass Board of Registration in Podiatry.

Having always had a love of teaching, he was previously employed as a Teacher in the Medford Public School System, an Assistant Professor at Bunker Hill Community College and is Board Certified as a Secondary School Principal.  Dr. Murano now educates the future podiatrists as Clinical Instructor for Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Cambridge Hospital Residency Program, and as Site Director & Clinical Instructor for Metro-West Podiatry Residency Program.

Dr. Murano graduated from the University of Massachusetts and completed his residency at the Malden Hospital Podiatry Residency. 

Dr. Murano and his wife currently reside in Winchester, Massachusetts.  They are the proud parents of son Raymond, DPM and daughter Jaclyn, RN.  In his spare time Dr. Murano enjoys playing the clarinet.
